Our vision is to be the firm that clients know and trust. The firm that exceeds expectations in a professional, down to earth manner. We strive to be the voice for our local and broader community, the voice that is known and trusted, that delivers what is promised and that listens to our clients to achieve the best results for them.
Lawyers are real people too, and our aim is to provide you with a real person service – not a “take a number” attitude, by providing a person to person service to our clients. Our approach is personal and we take time to know and understand our clients. We promise to tell you how it is and not what you may want to hear. In that way we provide value to our clients and our clients get true value from our services. We can do this, all the time, “keeping it real”.
Our values of equality, respect and integrity are at the forefront of all our work. Our main objective is seeing the right outcomes for our clients. Our lawyers take the time to sit down with you and find out what it is you want to achieve and provide you with the know how to achieve that outcome.

Who we are
Wollerman Shacklock Lawyers is led by Principal Solicitor Patricia Sheedy, or Trish, as family, friends, colleagues and clients know her.
Trish was not born into the legal world. In fact, Trish was raised on a fruit orchard amongst her large family. Whilst this childhood was much different to those in the industry who typically grew up with parents with white collar jobs, Trish’s childhood was rich with those things that she believes truly matter in life – love, respect, equality and integrity.
Trish had a desire at a young age. A desire to become a lawyer. But not just any lawyer. A lawyer who is real, who doesn’t pretend to be someone they are not. A lawyer who practices with her core values and beliefs of equality, respect and integrity. Trish set her goal to be the voice for others, a voice that displays these core values of equality, respect and integrity.
Trish’s journey in life has been far from easy. She has faced many obstacles and challenges in her life which she used to fuel her desire and passion to do what she does today. Trish’s journey into law began at a mature age, and from there she worked hard to find her way in the industry. After years of experience in the industry, Trish made the decision that she no longer wanted to work for firms that did not foster her core values and beliefs and set out to find somewhere she could work her own way. In 2015, she found Wollerman Shacklock looking for someone new to take over the firm. The rest is history!
You can be assured that when you come to Wollerman Shacklock, you are not treated as another person, or another number. Trish values each and every client that walks through the door as she appreciates that everybody, like her, has a story to tell. Trish has instilled her core values of equality, respect and integrity, in all of the staff at Wollerman Shacklock, so you can only expect to get that real person experience.

Solicitor
Trish joined Wollerman Shacklock in 2015, assuming the role of principal lawyer in 2017. With a wealth of experience in larger firms, she chose to continue her passion in an environment where she could uphold her core values of equality, integrity, and respect.
Driven by her love for property law, Trish furthered her career and obtained accreditation in property law, positioning herself as one of the few accredited property law specialists in Victoria.
Her dedication to her work and commitment to her values ensure that with Trish, you receive not just a lawyer, but a caring advocate who strives for the best possible outcome for her clients.

Solicitor
Banhi began her legal career in India in 2002 where she practiced for a few years. Banhi’s passion for Law continued, and after moving to Australia in 2007, she then obtained her Australian practicing certificate in 2014. Joining the Wollerman Shacklock team in 2024, Banhi assists Trish with all legal matters and brings with her a passion for assisting her clients to achieve the best outcome for them.
Banhi has an interest in most areas of law, with a specific interest in Wills and Estate matters. Banhi has had experience with Will and Estate litigation, so understands where and how disputes can arise. We can ensure that your matter is in safe hands with Banhi.

Paralegal and Conveyancer
Bethany joined Wollerman Shacklock Lawyers in 2020 and began her journey as our Receptionist/Legal Secretary without any prior legal experience. However, her unwavering dedication and passion for her work quickly advanced her into the role of Paralegal/Conveyancer.
Bethany plays a crucial role in our firm by supporting our Lawyers in handling the administration of deceased estates and conveyancing matters. Her continual commitment to delivering a high standard and efficient service to our clients is evident in every task she undertakes. Bethany's enthusiasm for learning and continual skill development truly defines her work ethic, and she thrives on the challenges that come with her role.

Legal Secretary
Oriana joined the Wollerman Shacklock team in 2022 starting off as our receptionist. With her great enthusiasm combined with her passion for learning and personal growth she quickly moved into the role of Legal Secretary within the firm.
Oriana supports Trish in various legal matters, with her speciality being in conveyancing. Drawing from her 8 years of experience in administration and customer service, she takes pride in delivering exceptional service to clients. Oriana thrives on the diverse challenges that arise from different conveyancing matters and is dedicated to expanding her knowledge and skills while providing outstanding service to all clients.

Accountant
Linda's journey with Wollerman Shacklock began in a part-time role as the firm accountant, where she also managed our trust accounting. She then came aboard in a permanent position in 2020, taking on the responsibilities of both Accountant and Office Manager.
In her role, Linda works closely with the entire team to ensure the smooth operation of the office on a daily basis. Her meticulous attention to detail, embedded in her strong accounting background, she works to ensure that all our processes and systems are optimized so we can continue to deliver professional and efficient services to our clients. Especially when it comes to our trust account, you can be rest assured that every single cent is protected and accurately accounted for under Linda's diligent watch.

Rose joined the Wollerman Shacklock team in 2022 as our Receptionist/Administration support. With her impressive customer service and administration background and her steady can-do attitude, she seamlessly incorporates these qualities into our daily business operations to ensure everything runs like clockwork.
As your first point of contact when reaching out to our office, Rose is the face that greets our clients upon entry and ensures that they experience a friendly, professional, and helpful experience. Her day-to-day responsibilities also involve providing invaluable assistance to our legal team, ensuring that their tasks are efficiently handled. Collaborating closely with our Office Manager, Rose contributes a wealth of ideas for implementing new ways to enhance our systems to provide a better and more efficient service to our clients. Her presence also plays a crucial role in maintaining a light and harmonious office environment. You can always be sure to have a laugh with Rose.

Emmanuel became a valuable member of the Wollerman Shacklock team in 2022, bringing his passion and dedication to our administration department. Currently pursuing a double degree in Law and Global Studies, Emmanuel's commitment to his studies is paralleled by his invaluable real-life experience gained from his part-time role at Wollerman Shacklock.
His responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, from assisting our lawyers with document drafting to conducting legal research and contributing significantly to the firm's administration.
